Hi All!...had a Ferrari tech check my 2013 458 Spider out Saturday and stated my front shocks are leaking...I have only owned the car for a little over a year and have not used it much yet...is this a thing where with more usage the seals will be ok?...he stated I could use the car for awhile but eventually “I’ll know” when to replace...they are VERY expensive and it’s not a fix I factored in-anything to do to preserve the longevity of them?...are they covered under the Ferrari power warranty which I have?...what experience do all have with this?...thanks

Yes the warranty should cover it.

Had mine fixed under the power warranty. It was a garage queen before I got it, so perhaps more miles would have been better.

I believe they would be covered if you extended the original new-car warranty for the one or two year period that was available when the car was still under the original warranty as that extension applies bumper-to-bumper. (But a 2013 car would not still be under that coverage anyway.) But under the New Power warranty, it does not appear to be covered (from the New Power brochure, which specifically excludes seals and leaks):

Suspension and steering: complete steering box, suspension arm joints, power steering pump (excluding drive belt), toe-in tie-rods, ECU for controls on steering wheel (oil seals and oil leaks not covered).

Doesn't mean the dealer can't go to bat for you with Ferrari for some goodwill, however.

    Shocks aren’t covered under Power.
