Very nice. I have all the paperwork on the car, haven’t looked at for awhile, I do think it is the Euro version. We are in the Woodlands. North of Houston.

I installed a couple of those kits back in the 80s. I think I still have a set of instructions. Big money wasted IMO. t was just an add on. No mods.

A very underated model. I drove one many years ago and it felt very stable compared with my 1976 308gtb. Mind you my car was modified a bit and some of the original features had been changed. The Mondial was never popular and never reached the stratospheric prices that we saw in the early 1990's. Some of you may remember that......followed by the crash.....prices that is!! It is an attractive car and affordable for those who were lowish wage earners. I've passed the desire to own one and will stick with the 308gtb for a while yet. This might change when I win the lotto.....yeah, right!!

Hello Aaron......this turbo mod looks exciting. Did you alter the compression ratio of the engine with different pistons? What I would like to say and this comes from 60+ years of working with metals in one form or another is that the welds on your stainless pipework are very poor and needs some work to bring it up to a better standard. Firstly, there's not much that can be done with the weld deposit BUT you can remove the heat colour form the weld zone. The stainless tubes are probably a stainless of low quality which is the norm for automotive use......a 400 series rather than a 300 series alloy and removal of the heat colour [ we call it blueing ] can be done either mechanically [ wire brush / sand paper ] or with a pickling paste......an acid mix which is very effectrive but these days considered too toxic to wash down the drain. Either way, this will enhance the corrosion resistance. Left untouched, you can expect this area to corrode [ rust if you like ] leaving you with pits and holes which will quickly make the exhaust sound like a truck!!

Congratulations Nasa you have yourself a great car. Treat it well and it will give you much pleasure.
I have had my 1988 3.2 for about 15 years. That motor might be the best Ferrari ever built, indestructible and reliable.
Recently my baby got re shod with original Michelin TRX. They are a great road tyre and I have always used them.
A lot of purists don't consider the Mondial highly however it is a great touring car, not only can your girlfriend
pack a second pair of shoes you can also take your golf clubs and they are just as quick as their 2 seater brothers.
Put some miles on it brother. DavidB Sydney Australia.

    Thanks all!
Went for my second drive this weekend (it was winter time here in Belgium, so unfortunately I had to store the car away immediately after I purchased it).
But the car is amazing. Specially in the higher rev range. The sound changes dramatically, it's like the Mondial has two personalities... Sub 3.500 RPM it's very civil and easy going but once you push the rev counter higher it turns into something else completely!
I think I must agree that most of the people "slamming" the Mondial are people who never actually drove it ...

And to stay on topic: had a meet-up with a good friend of mine in his Cayman:

The red goes really well with the black trim on the QV.
