    If the clinched aluminum part has a set screw just remove. If not you will need to cut cables and replace with a similar style item. Usually you can get stuff like that at a hobby store or mcmaster carr

    Yes that black dot is a set screw

    Did you make sure your sensor is working correctly? Common failure point.
    You can just disconnect it which will make it think it is closed.
