Drove my Roma on to an accurate digital scale. After adjusting for fuel the car, without me in it was

3538lbs. That is about 350 lbs less than my F12! Also the Roma weighs almost exactly as my 2020 C8 Corvette. However the Corvette lbs per hp is 7.14 compared to the Roma which is 5.78. 495Hp compared to 612HP. What you really feel in the Roma is not the Hp but the torque. 561 lbs/ft vs 470 for the vette. Just thought I would post this interesting data. Anyone else weigh their Roma? BTW, my Corvette ZR1 which was crazy fast produced 638 Supercharged HP and weighed
    3308 lbs. That is 5.19 lbs/hp. Torque on the ZR1 was 604lbs/ft

Was is completely empty? No floor mats, stuff in the truck or glove box, etc. Also depends on options. All the high tech camera gear would add weight. The Roma's power to weight ratio is really impressive. Given the overall size of the car you would think it would be heavier. Makes a difference not only in acceleration but handling and braking.

This was the car as it was delivered to me. Nothing special. I was surprised that it weighed about the same as my C8 Corvette because it look so much bigger visually.

The weight of the Roma is an overlooked attribute of the car. It is lighter than cars it is compared to. A DB11 is 3,880 lbs. and a Turbo S is 3,636. I think it even feels lighter driving it....more like a car of 3,300-3,400 lbs. The Roma's advertised weight is 3,461. Very close to the weight you got. Difference could be scales, fuel, etc.

Difference was probably that I had to estimate the amount of fuel on board to make the no fuel in car calculation/ Close enough.

For comparison: 1) My Portofino came in at 3740 with a full tank on a government-certified scale that measures to the nearest 20 pounds. 2) Motor Trend weighed an 812 at 3845 (probably full tank).

What really surprised me was how heavy my F12 was. 3888lbs with 0 fuel calculated. That is 350 lbs heavier than the my Roma.

Basically it handled poorly. Over weight.

You’re saying the F12 handled poorly due to its weight? I daily drive my F12 in summer, I’ve tracked it, and I test drove a Roma. I assure the F12 - while more GT than my previous 458, which I also tracked - does not drive like it’s overweight.

No longer have acess to the F12 but I weighed it on an accurate digital scale. 3888 lbs no fuel. The Roma was 3538 no fuel.
