Good day All, Adding to Raemin's brightness comment... Human eyes does not perceive "brightness" linearly and so the control of the light (LED or other) has to be done in a manner that matches the eye's perception characteristics. This is why inexpensive LED dimmers are not quite up to the task of modulating the LED light output so that it appears linear to the human eye. Adding to this, the color (wavelength) of the LED has to also be considered, as the eye is more sensitive to certain colors, etc. This is why the same lumen output of a Blue LED is much brighter to the eye as compared to say Red.
