    Grilled pepper assortment. Poblano, jalapeño and serrano. Then, let them steam for about 15 min in a ziploc bag. Removed outer skin. S&P. Blend with cream cheese. Use as a base for smoked salmon on a tortilla (no bagels in the house).

    That burger reminds me of the crazy Japanese style hot dogs at Japa dog here...............

    Left over ribs. Firing up the deep fryer and making fries as a side.

    My mom has tests at a hospital at 4:30 pm today. Across the street is a great Japanese restaurant. They have a patio. Dine is closed, but patios are still open. Plan to take her there for dinner.

    Pizzeria Bianco was next. I think hell froze over...they are now doing a NY style pie! We had the very unique, and great, "Rosa" (rosemary, pistachio, red onion, evoo) to start and then gave their NY style pie a go (pep and mush). The Rosa was fantastic as always. The NY pie was "meh". It was well made, with great ingredients, but lacked the usual NY sidewalk eating experience that must factor into my memorable pies from NY.

    I made some chicken stuff the other day. One was kinda like stir fry, just used up what I had, cabbage, peppers, mushrooms. Not bad. Then I put a few into the oven and on the fly made low carb chicken parm. Little sauce on them as they cooked (no breading) then threw some mozz on top before they finished up.

    Both tasty and have been eating leftovers for a couple days now.

    My posts for the next couple of weeks will be restaurant food - eating out everyday while in Scottsdale...

    Today's stop was my favorite Taco place here, Tacos El Chino. Their "thing" is "all the BBQ and braised meats" and they do have a pretty large selection. There are far too many great little taco places to ever say "this is the best", but this place is pretty great.

    I had;

    In the first pic from left to right - Cabeza, Cachete, barbacoa de puerco.

    And in the second pic from left to right - Adobada, Carne Asada

    Third pic is the menu of course...

    Last pic is the parking lot area...it must be legit as it has murals nearby :)
