I like the car in the gray/silver family with a singular contrasting stripe in the same color family. I’m un-decided/unsure about the stripe over cf bonnet or not. Unfortunately for me, I won’t have the opportunity to make those decisions.

I like the 812 vs but I miss very much the two holes close to the front lights of the 812 standard

Flavio Manzoni became Ferrari's chief designer in 2010. Since then some of Ferrari's designs have been more successful than others but apparently Manzoni has the ability to learn with the less achieved parts on previous designs and always tries to improve them on the next design. The 812 VS is a good example of this.

Why not incorporate slats into the design of the solid rear window? The rear window with the bumps or whatever we are calling them is the only design detail I’m really not sure of.

Considering the all design I am agree with you just I prefer the all front shape of the standard 812 than the VS ... but this is only my taste!:)

    so... 6 days left.

i´m a bit concerned about 4 wheel steering and so by steer by wire.
but lets stay positiv. even if it won`t be that real feeling, it will be a better/ultra "chassis". but they will start soft with it.
What are the known most advance systems (next to the Hummer EV)? Is there something like this in RaceCars? Or a steering transmission which is not working simultaneous? I could imagine that a lot of performance enhancing difference of the left&right frontwheel-positioning - is already done based on setup/gemoetry within the frontaxle.

Was there ever a working independent 4 wheel steering in a racecar?

I’m still perplexed at what additional technical /performance surprises will be announced next Wednesday over and above what we’ve already been told....like others have said on this Forum , seems a little strange to split the launch as they have - unless there a truly major surprise worth the additional torment ! In the meantime I’ve been busying myself with spec colours- I’ve narrowed it down to either Yellow .......... or red ...... or white ....... or blue ...... definitely NOT Black or Grigio in my case ... although titanio could look cool ..... I’m a stuttering dithering ferrarista who’s curiosity is reaching fever pitch - going to be a long 6 days - IL be working on Wednesday at 2.30 cet , but il be itching to view the video 1/2 later .....

It might be due to whatever is under that back cover, if there is nothing but cargo space underneath, then that's one of the worst design decisions ever (removing rear view 'just because' they can). However, if something under that back cover provides extra power, they are probably worried about it being accepted so they showed the car as-is to build excitement before they drop the news that the last unassisted V12 special edition already has occurred (i.e. TDF).

The details you've mentioned on the rear window are very difficult to evaluate just by looking at pictures and the only proper way to do that is to see the real car. In the case of the 812 VS and for the ones that aren't VIP like myself and live in Europe, perhaps that will be possible in March of 2022 if the Geneva motor show is held. :)
