I still think you should offer this up on BAT. Set a high reserve, if that’s your concern.

 

BaT controls the reserve. You request it, and they'll either approve it, or reject it for being too high. I've sold two cars on BaT and have run into that problem. When you sell a car on BaT, you are contracting for them to sell the car for you. It is therefore their auction, not yours, and they control the particulars. They are responsible for the description, based on what you tell them. They'll let you write it, but they will then edit it as they see fit, subject to your approval. And they won't permit a reserve that is higher than what they believe is reasonable. They have a vested interest in making sure that they minimize the number of cars that don't meet reserve.
