What's to get? There's a Second Amendment. And, the previous "assault weapon" ban was ineffective. Not grasping at straws at all. It's just a fact that the guy in Nice killed many with a box truck.

And, if you'd REALLY like to impact killings by guns, focus on unregistered handguns. Check the statistics...

De-militarized equipment like tanks and fighters are around. I'd think mostly in museum collections. Few and far between, though. And, the military still has bigger guns, if needed. Even Killdozer wouldn't stand a chance against a Main Battle Tank.

A 42-year-old man has been charged with four counts of attempted murder after going on stabbing rampage at a supermarket in NZ.

Just before 2.30pm (12.30pm AEDT) on Monday police were called to an incident at Countdown, a subsidiary of Woolworths in the South Island city of Dunedin, about 357km south of Christchurch, after a man carrying two knives allegedly stabbed several people including two staff.

This is a fair dinkum post in Silver....sad sick country they live in:

Driving a moving truck with my daughter from Chicago to NJ, including overnight. I would like to have a pistol with me en route.
This means flying back from Newark with it being declared in a checked bag. From all info I can gather there should be no issue, but I thought I'd ask the brain trust.
