    Honestly, it took me about 30 minutes to figure out what this was... moving much too fast to be an airplane, and in perfectly clear skies this morning, the trail didn't seem reasonable either.

    Kinda amazing that here in central North Carolina this was spotted at ~ 5:45am.

    Curious object passes between the second stage and capsule 12:36 - 12:38.

    Saw that. Loose part from the stage separation most likely. Lot of junk floating around in near Earth orbit. Another object for space command to track. Someone needs to design a spacecraft to sweep up all that stuff.

    What boggles my mind is that SpaceX mentioned that this was the 80th successful booster landing!

    and that NASA allowed a used booster and capsule to be used for only the 3rd crewed flight. :eek: :)

    I believe SRB's were re-used for shuttle launches. Capsule no biggie either, although I wonder if the entire heat shield is a throw-away or refurbished.
