Alternatives to the 458: - Gasoline particles filter - Muted Turbos on downsized engines to comply with emission politics - Hybrids - SUVs - Electric batteries No, thank you. Kind regards, Nuno.
Not planning to sell but checked the 6-10 year box because I'm getting older and life is unpredictable. It's very unlikely I would trade the car on another Ferrari and I have already gone the Porsche route including GT models. So I think I will stay pat and enjoy my 2013 Spider as long as I can.
My kids aren’t getting cash when I die. One gets the 458, one gets the gated R8 and watches etc. everyone wins including me.
LOLOLOL!!! Having owned both the 458 Spider and the R8 Spyder, this almost made me shoot wine through my nose!!! All wheel drive DOES make a difference, but I'll take the Ferrari all day long now!

thx. Yeah met a professional photographer one day on one of the group drives and so I asked him to do a solo session this Saturday. To me this car is such an amazing piece of art, that it was worth the time and money to properly immortalize it. What better place than the Santa Cruz mountains! Privileged to own a car and live in such a place.
Beautiful ride sir! It looks like a very similar build to mine. Enjoy it! I just sent mine off to get a few things sorted and I am already missing it terribly!
2013 458 Spider. Bought her in February 2020 with 8000 miles. Now has 14,500. Zero plans to ever sell. Much like what has been echoed. Not interested in the 488 or F8. I have recently add an f12 .... I love it, but long for a red one. Mine is TDF Blue. I could see swapping her out in the future for what I would consider the perfect spec. As for the 458. It is a keeper. -C Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I'm taking delivery of my 3rd 458 in a couple of days. This will be the first Spider version for me. I'm hoping to keep it forever. Realistically one never knows because life has a way of screwing with your plans at times. Still I'm like a little kid on Xmas in anticipation of getting this car. IMHO the 458 is one of the best things to come out of Maranello and will go down in history as such. I'll post some pics when I pick it up.
Here’s a few more I know you will enjoy... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Nothing beats the exhaust note of my 2014 Fuji Bianco Italia. Perfect to drive when the wife wants to talk....hey can't hear you. When she is not in talking mood out come the V12 575 or 599HGTE. Bottom line as long as I am married the 458 stays Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I'll keep mine until service becomes a burden where I can't deal with the service hassles & delays. It's not so much the money, but the availability and quality of parts. Not to mention that in my area, there aren't many Ferrari service choices. I have a various cars. A 991.1 4S is my daily driver. I could see myself upgrading to an SF -90 in two years....which probably requires an order this year.
Just took delivery on Friday and as promised here are some photos. Grigio Ferro over Bourdeau. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Borrowing pic from Petrolhead#32 and my Speciale....just take a minute to study closely the lines of the fenders front to back (from tip of nose to tail, and all the sub-lines)...look at the suggestion of air flow, organic, female sexuality...and tell me the 458 isn’t a masterpiece: Pininfarina = Italian genius. You can keep your “aggressive” designs, I’ll soak in female curves any day, all day, and twice on Sundays! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
