These cars were designed as convertibles and not converted coupes into convertibles therefore the design is cohesive and not bastardized, they are in a different class than the F8 Spider for the sake of this conversation.
Generally I prefer coupes, but I can't really get behind a mid-engine Ferrari without flying butress C-pillars, so that means I have to vote spider for all of the recent models.

Biiiiiiiiggggggg Difference in cost my friend. Porsche 2 days... $4000. Includes accommodations and food.
Only a fan here, doubt I'll own one, but the F8 Spider, especially at natural eye level is one of the sexiest modern F cars from the rear. It really does evoke the mid V8s of the 70s-90s. If I ever did get one I'd probably drive it with the top up all the time, but the rear deck lid and "flying buttress" esque style rollover structure just really do it for me. I actually just watched a short clip on an F8 specific IG account that showed the very view I'm taking about and it was so breathtaking I had to hop on FChat and come straight to an F8 thread. Having said all of that, if I was looking at a 308/28/48/55 I'd go coupe all the way, for the lines are so much nicer on the old hardtops. Funny how it's been flipped. Really surprised the Spider holds a 11.6 % advantage over the coupe. The engine under glass and F40 glass must not matter as much as I thought they would.
Your study in underpowered and therefore, the p value would not be statistically significant. Besides 11% isn't that much. With that said, I would assume (and hope) that there will be more Spiders. Time will tell.
