And here I though it was a religion from this forum. :p
"It's just a car" WHAAAT! I thought It was going to be a whole new life, chicks, money, prestige, respect more chicks. Super deflated now
No it's not. It's still just a car. You can pay $500 for an O2 sensor repair at a repair shop or buy one on Amazon for $82 and do it yourself because 'it really is just a car'. Can't do that on your airplane unless you are a certified A&P mechanic....now that would be more than a car.
https://silverstoneauctions.com/sa075-lot-0-1996-ferrari-f355-gtb-manual?el=16220&pn=1&pp=100 25k mi ... “low mileage” . Red seat inserts from factory?
All I know is I should have purchased on 5 years ago when I was on the fence, now I have to pay 25% more! I do however just think it's going to get worse from here so I'm actively on the hunt!
Well the “body” is worth the effort, but the “guts” will never be the same. The glorious 5 valve heads and shaft linkage gated 6 speed are pretty much the best parts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
When I sold my 348 Spyder and went to a 355, I never looked back Seat belts alone is enough for me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hi . Typically I will list the cars that come up for sale on my Instagram page ( fastcarsltd ) or on here . I don’t have them on a website
Hahaha. Been there! You laugh, but I did the engine swaps, Knots2U fairings, and some other crap to my old Piper Seneca back in the day. I dropped off the cores and picked up the new engines at the Yellow Freight terminal with my pick up. The A&P mechanic was a friend and he also handled the fleet of planes for a charter operation I was connected with and he " supervised the work".
I was bidding on a 1996 Pre-Airbag car with carbon seats in Japan yesterday and lost. RC / Nero 67,843km (42,401mi) Pre-Airbag Carbon Seats ZFFPR41JPN0104733 Sold for 16,510,000 JPY / $186,750 CAD / $149,500 USD + fees
Hagerty salivating over the 22B. https://www.hagerty.com/media/news/subaru-sti-22b-bat-25k-mile/ 355’s should be $200k minimum .
Agreed. ^ Especially after seeing a 1991 Cadillac sell for 70k on BAT the other day I'm surprised the RAC 98 Berlinetta hasn't sold or, didn't bring more bids on BAT. Maybe I'm missing something but if it -IS- because of F1, I think the delta between it and a gated car is too great? Has to be easier/less expensive/more available parts to convert a 355 from F1 to banger if you so desire. (compared to the newer cars that many seem to be doing) Unless there's just so much cash flying around now nobody wants to be bothered with that
