Just threw a CEL little over a week after installing the Kline exhaust and 200 cell cats.

Other than putting the factory cats back on or getting a tune, are there any other solutions? Any advice would be appreciated.

Blue tape over the CEL? :p

You've messed with the car's emissions system so it's going to throw a hissy fit. Not sure you have any other options other than reversing what you've done or going further and adjusting the car's ECU.

Novitec and Capristo offer units to delete the CEL. How is the sound compared to stock? Been contemplating Novitec or Kline.

Is that the Capristo OBD Wizard? I wonder if it still leaves a trail of CEL codes in the ecu..

The exhaust sounds great. It was about 20% louder at first install, but it has significantly increased in volume since putting some miles on it. I've noticed the tone gets much deeper at lower rpm's as the exhaust heats up. At full throttle, it has a real nice high pitch scream to it, which I love. I have no regrets in going with Kline. I'm getting a Capristo valve controller installed and maybe I try the OBD Wizard while I'm at it.

If you have any vids, would love to hear it. Kline videos are elusive.

@TAGMotorsports may know the answer about leaving a trail for the codes.

It's in the shop for new PPF until end of next week. I'll try and do one when I get it back. Looks like you're in Socal. OC? Maybe you want to listen in person?

Thats disappointing, I was told by Kline that it 100% would not throw a code. You should contact them and ask them to make it right.

    Hi Ghattas,

    Thank you for reaching out.

With 200 cell cats, and lambda spacer there will be no check engine light.
100 cell cats may cause check engine light, usually they don't, but
sometimes they do. In which case we recommend lambda off software.
Decats will cause check engine, so again we recommend lambda off
    software.

But if you don't want to tune your car, the best option for you is the 200cell cat pipes wit lambda spacers.

    Thank you.

    Best regards,

    Rares

Hmmm. There were no lambda O2 spacers with the exhaust.

I would contact them and have them send them out then. It doesn't make sense to not include them per their email to me. We've run into these types of things with other models as well but they generally make it right.

@Mickyd329 did you get a resolution to this? I have same issue on a 488 with a Kline exhaust installed by previous owner.
