    Just wanted to share a fantastic experience and some pictures snapped along the "Road to Pikes Peak" trip I had the opportunity to take, enjoying several days of social distancing driving across the beautiful US National Parks.

    The GTS was shipped from DC to Beverly Hills, which was the starting point, Pikes Peak being a glorious end point. The journey took us through the Death Valley, Las Vegas, Zion, the exceptional Amangiri hotel in UT, Durango CO, the stunning Million Dollar Highway, Colorado Springs and finally Pikes Peak. Among others.
    The car was ultimately dropped at Ferrari of Denver who had coordinated with Algar to get it shipped back to the East Coast for me. Thank you for making it easy!

    I was initially I'd be quite exhausted by the 8h+/day, but that never happened.
    Those 2,500 miles confirmed one more time that the 812 Platform is built for Grand Touring.
    The GTS just brought the experience to another level: the opportunity to enjoy a V12, top down, vocalizing all its range echoing in astonishing sceneries - whether still snowy Colorado mountains, deserted roads of Nevada, or being ambushed by a heard of Antelopes in New Mexico, will constitute memories for a lifetime.

    That sounds absolutely fantastic - been through Utah and SW Colorado a few times on motorcycles - beautiful country.

    Sounds like an amazing trip, with an amazing car! Blu America works so well on the GTS, especially with Cuoio Toscano! If you don't mind me asking, how was your SF spec'd?

    Good question - I am looking at Blue Abu Dhabi, Titanio or even a pearl white. Race seats are a must for me. If I go Blue, then a burgundy interior, Titanio will have blue with white stitching. Pearl whit likely to have Burgundy with black stitching as well. Likely to do the carbon driving zone as well. With this said I really like Blue America, it suits the car very well. I am headed in this week to hopefully pin it down.

    Beautiful car. Was the whole trip done with the SottoZero winters? How did they hold up in the higher temperatures?

    I'm very happy with my spec - Titanio over Bordeaux with race seats. Check it out, in case it helps your decision making!

    The whole trip was indeed on SottoZeros.
    They held fine but the temperature was not hellish; I was glad to have them in the CO mountains.
    Almost slashed one in a pothole (slashed but not through): they are non run flats so got lucky.
