Sounds terrific, Jeff. The Philadelphia Maranello contingent is strong!

Seems more "bassy" than the Fabio mufflers. Still sounds good...but I think it reduces the high pitch F1 tone?

I agree, and I am hopeful that the Supersprint X-pipe + 550 or 575 mufflers will bring back the higher pitched tone while still being a livable volume with closed valves.

I have the full complete Fabio system on my 550 and with the valves closed you could drive it cross country without packing migraine medicine for the trip.

Why not just do all his parts?

That's the eventual plan. I'm trying to get the rest of the car fully sorted before spending more on upgrades.

When did you get the 550? I think I read older posts and you had something different?

Great- love to see it. I believe there are a few other configurations like mine here in the US with no issues however. We are in the process of starting over from a leak test, verifying all connections are correct (this has been done already), any compromised harnessing that may be causing an intermittent signal, possible ground intermittency, etc. Its frustrating when the search is down to the needle in the haystack. Look forward to the info...thanks

When mine were installed, my techs had to replace one of the O2 sensors that had worked fine with the OEM headers. Or maybe it was ready to go and fiddling with it finished it off.

Do you happen to know if they replaced the O2 with the Bosch OEM or is there an aftermarket they had good experience with? Just one replaced?

I have the 550 and an FF, both Blu Pozzi.
I used to have a Grigio/Rosso 308 GTS that I sold to a friend last year.
Looking for a gated 360 Spider.

    Nice stable you have Jeff
I was behind an FF this past Sunday on the Algar rally. The owner had a Kline exhaust system on it and the car sounded sick!
Enjoyed that scream all day long

This is my next big upgrade for my car.

Currently I have OEM straight center pipes + Tubi. It’s quite loud as is now.

I was thinking to get a 200cell catted header, but is there anyway to avoid a CEL with the cat less set up?

Also trying to decide on the rest?

I don’t see a lot of experience using the OEM straight centers (Looks like it’s just Taz) or with the Tubi.

In my opinion, there's nothing that comes close to Fabios complete setup.

There is absolutely no discomfort on long drives. It's perfection...you can try mixing and matching, but save yourself the time and money and just get the complete setup.

It's loud when your right foot wants it to be...and it's humble when cruising. It's an absolute must for any 550/575 in my opinion. Purists be damned. :D

I guess a more focused question is what is the advantage / cons of the dual H pipe vs OEM mid straight pipes? More importantly which is better for less drone.

Less drone from the H-pipe and that is its only function. Mine has factory straight pipes and she does drone a bit.

    Sounds like I’m getting a H pipe.

Taz, any guess on what the difference between using Fabio’s HGTC vs Tubi as the end muffler?

I took Fabio’s H pipe off and went back to the OE part coupled with his muffler deletes.
Great sound....saving my nickels for his headers.

A- No idea since I do not know which Tubis you have. Mine has factory Superamerica HGTC exhaust. If I were you, I would get Fabio's exhaust that looks like HGTC and sell the Tubis. I am considering changing my straight pipes for Fabio's H pipe.

The Tubis will drone. Fabio's do not.

    This.

Tubi's are way different in tone.

Fabios full system from headers all the way to mufflers, swap mufflers for Tubi's and it won't sound right IMO. That's why I say, get the whole system. He's done his homework...he dialled this all in on his own 575 before even starting to market or sell it.

I should ask his website mentions "it is necessary to modify the two Bosch Motronic ECU in order not to have the CEL light on, with appropriate remapping can obtain the maximum performance."

I didn't think was possible to remap our cars in this manner?

    Who offers this solution?

If there is a way to avoid the CEL and retune it to work properly with the significant drop in backpressure from removing the cat, that would be amazing!
