16017 has been on the market for at least 10 or more years. On and off the market all the time. The description is hilarious, the people involved have no idea about the real history of the vehicle. Not too long ago the ask was 3 Million, now it's only 2 Million........ Marcel Massini
I wonder if there’s “enough” room in negotiations to consider cost of bringing her back to “as built” configuration, let alone Classiche red book certifiable ? The poor thing is just hideous as is.
Even if they gave it away the cost of returning to original configuration would probably exceed the value of a 365GTC4.
Yes, I knew that, but perhaps I should've had added something to indicate my comment was made in jest. Yet, on the more serious note, the poor thing does look rather hideous with its dune buggy/jolly "outfit" and I can't imagine any serious car guy/gal driving/owning a high performance GT car subjected to such appearance... ..., but OTOH, there a lots of other things in this life I don't understand either... ... like the "Rainbow" or "Tomassimas" (sp. ?), etc... ... not to mention any and all fake/recreation/replica/tribute/etc and especially those which were built using legitimate cars to start with.
I am not entirely sure what they were on when this was dreamt up, but I'm not sure I'm brave enough to try it.....
I think this car is hilarious and appreciate the sense of humor behind it. Would I ever subject a GTC/4 to this? No. But since it's been done, I can appreciate the no-effs-given attitude. Not a million dollar car in any way, though.
The beach car’s location is given as Switzerland... I’m surprised that hasn’t provoked some comment! Beaches?
beaches are not only at the sea, they are all over where there are lakes - and switzerland has some very nice lakes
Hello Romano, you’re right of course but to me a beach car needs the Cote d’Azur, St Trop, Bondi or maybe Rio and a far horizon. Having lived in Germany for a couple of years I’m familiar with lakeside beaches but just had to comment.
Felber, the Sbarro of the 70s. Anyway, like it or not, the harm is done and the car already has its own history, so I guess it owns a place under the sun. The problem is that for that money it will stay rotting still for a while.
How about a picture of this 'thing'? .... ok Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login .
I remember having a close look at it on the Geneva show stand back then and thought it unexpected but cool...but hey I was about 14 Yes the sellers seem lost at sea...
I know I sound foolish, but I think this is really cool and would be a hoot to show up with at a vintage Ferrari meet.
problem is more to get this old air from somewhere. the new air just now has to much polution and the car will not drive well
This car will be auctioned in Monaco next week. Estimate is 700 000€-1 300 000€ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
