I have now logged in my archives what I believe to be every single Paint to Sample Carrera GT produced for the United States market. Determining a few last details over time, after which I'll share the list of colors.

Below are two of the cars, the PTS Rosso Scuderia example and a PTS White example (still not sure which shade) photographed here sitting in front of Porsche Naples in 2005/2006. These two cars were likely ordered together as they have consecutive VIN numbers, one digit apart.

The White car is what I believe to be the highest MSRP Carrera GT produced for the USA, coming in at a whopping $507k due to lots of special tailoring options.

Then why are you in the Carrera GT sub-subforum of the Porsche subforum?

Why did F- chat send it to me? I had to state my point of view. I did not know there was a GT sub forum of a P-car sub forum on a F-car website. Why in the heck does that even exist? Why not start your little sub forums somewhere else, like, I don't know, how about P-car. Yeah, try that!

Because Ferrari owners can have a place to talk about Porsches.

Car sold for $1.1m + buyers premium. Bids quickly died at $1.1m with nobody willing to go even slightly higher. Shows how far off dealer ads are right now for cars on their lots or on consignment.

Did anybody get eyes on the car? The condition looked good in the report but things can always be different in person.

Not really, this car sold to a dealer. Miles End Motors in Vancouver, Canada. Asking prices are always asking prices.
