Ah. Caeruleus11 sent me an email, and seem super happy with his on the Lusso. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
drove the car for 15 mins...no discernable difference good or bad...the potholes still feel terrible but as long as the wheels don't bend...we will see
Remember to drop the PSI about 2 or so compared to how you run them with 245/35R20. That volume and thus lower pressure is part of what will absorb some of the impacts. One thing I'm wondering about. Especially in comfort, the Lusso is significantly softer than the FF. That will more than likely have an effect too compared to the Lusso situation.
The fronts are at 36. Significant shimmy above 50 so the one wheel will probably need to be replaced. Hate this pos
What front pressure is the FF owners manual calling for? Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
FWIW - and fortunately - it cost me $100 per rim for repair. My dealer outsourced them and did not add on to the cost.
400k and these morons cant build a car whose headliner doesnt droop. What else is there to say. And they wanna build an suv. Laughable.
Time to end your FF nightmare, Wheels I agree with you , Headliner over the last twenty years all my cars have had headliners replaced Ferrari,Mini ,Lexus.
Lol corroding paint in the trunk jam. Rear shock leaking after 35k miles. Rotor caps rusted out from winter driving. I mean it really is a joke. Drivers ventilation message comes on for no reason. Had that fixed now this lol Image Unavailable, Please Login
I get your point and pain , $ amount should never come into bad quality but let’s be honest it’s part of Ferrari D&A,
Drive mine as often as I can, absolutely love my wife’s Mini, My Lexus LX 470 best built car I’ve ever owned, But a Ferrari 12 cylinder will nearly always be worth the pain. Headliners suffer because of Florida climate and the weight of the leather.
just for sake of transparency.... I have no issues with the FF, i love my car. My issue is with RACE as they shld support these cars by not charging clients for stuff that shld have been made correctly (i.e. everything in post 92 + PTU/DCT)
FF, 599, 456m 365 2+2 all had headliners replaced, Living in London for 40 years just the contents of the car needed replacing ever so often
This thread has made me think about replacing my wheels 2016 FF, but after looking back on most of the posts I have no idea what manufacturer to choose advice is needed, I reside in South Florida it’s my DD never tracked serviced at dealership. Thanks Daniel..
If you go by load rating, there are at least three wheels out there with a 2100 load rating. These are Forgeline GS1R, Forgeline Z01R and Forgeline GA3R. What's interesting is that the latter is warranted for racing with that load rating. That you only see if the wheel is properly strong. They also offer the Forgeline FX1-5 which is basically designed to work on heavy rigs like Burps and Expeditions. Quite sure that wheel will have a pretty substantial load rating.
