In shopping online for a new car cover, I see vast differences in price, fit, features. I want one for occasional outdoor and indoor use. Any feedback is appreciated. THX.

I had a Coverking for my F430 and it worked great. Have the OEM cover and car seats for my current FF and between the two the OEM is lighter and defintely fits better than the Coverking.

Coverking (?) makes a NOAH cover that can be custom sized.
They honored a warranty return 3 years after I bought one

@dinopomodoro : I just picked up my 456M and am looking for a cover. Curious to learn what cover you bought and what your thoughts are after 4 years.

Or if anybody else has a good tip for a cover that would be appreciated as well.

    Let me know please.
    Thanks!

I'm also in the market for a good cover. Looking for suggestions as I'm a bit tired of seeing so much dust collected on my 456m everytime I'm ready to take it out.

I just bought the lowest cost cover on Coverking, $147 for the 3 layer indoor version, custom built for the 456M. I have my cars stored indoors and am more concerned with people walking past it and scratching it. I drive at least once per week so dust is not my major concern. I will wait however for other suggestions to get something original with logo's or emblems, that would be nice. Most of my covers are done tearing up after a couple years, maybe because I take them off 60 times per year. Hope somebody has a good experience with one of nicer ones. If not, I'll just buy a new one every 4~5 years.

I have a Ferrari cover that I believe is for a 458 that I will sell. I say "I believe" because it was an extra one included when I bought my FF but when I went to put it on, it was a little short on the back end and then noticed it was for a shorter front car like a 458. If anyone is interested I'd send it out for shipping costs and then if it fits we can agree on a price. Just sitting in my garage.

I recently bought a cover for my 328 from California Car Cover when the Hagerty weekly deal was 20% off. Very happy with it so far. High quality and great fit.

    Mmmmm...
Personally, I always prefer covers coming from manufacturers on my cars ofcourse, "if I really want them on".
If you get the chance to have an specific cover by F for 456, that would be my pick.
Vehicle perfectly covered/ material of the inside would be smooth on the car, great durability in general/ if (by casual outdoors) you mean not really hot weather it should be good enough too.
Plus, you get get a used one (some are almost brand new), if you found ordering one is a little expensive.
I have nothing against aftermarket ones, however, as far as I remember, I haven't been totally satisfied with 2 previous (not really model specific) purchases before. "Mostly quality wise".

I'm not so sure about the manufacturer's cover being the best, at least in Ferrari's case. They only source such peripherals from a manufacturer, and seem to opt for the bottom of their line. A good example is the battery tender that comes in the cover bag. They use a base CTEK when much better CTEK's are available.

I have used California Car Cover for 20 years and they use to be the best, not sure if that still applies? there are about 6 different ones for various levels of indoor/outdoor, rain, ding, and sun protection. They custom fit to all Ferraris (they even did my Challenge) and already have most models in their system. They are pricey $350-600, but worth it.

I've used custom fit satin Coverking covers for a 328 and 430 and found them to be a very nice quality product.

I have used a California Car Cover for 15 years on my 575, same cover shows little sign of wear after all that usage.

They also have a Warrantee. I use an outside cover on my way DD which started to show tears from the sun. I called for a replacement cover and they told my cover was under warranty. I dropped the old cover off, they sent it in for replacement and it was fully warranted at no cost. So there’s that as well.

On carcovers.com I got the Indoor Satin option for my 360 Spider and I'd say the fit is perfect to slightly snug. The website seems to not be working at the moment, although their Facebook page is still active and directs to the site.

My Coverking basic version cover arrived over the weekend and it serves its purpose. It is custom fit for my 456M and it fits snug and does the job for basic protection. I only use it indoors to keep the dust away and protects it against scratches if people walk by. You get what you pay for, this one was sub $100. I will also order the inside fleece lined version that costs 4 times as much but it psychologically works better. I don't see any damage on the clearcoat after putting it on and off a couple times, but I am a bit concerned with this single layer version. The fleece lined version has the same fit and I am more than pleased with that. I will then use this single layer version on my drives when I park it overnight.

Since I live within 20 miles of their store the drop off was a least expensive alternative for me. That and I didn't want to wrap it for mailing. My wife is an Amazon Prime member and very few weeks go by without a visit from their vehicle fleet so we are also fans of Prime.
