The irony is that the reason why the pure manual F430 / 575 /599 are so rare is that at the time nobody wanted them. For an outdated car I think it's better to go for an older one and not overpay for rarity (I just bought a 550 and could not be happier )
I kind of keep an eye out for them. Before Covid, there were several for sale in the 200K - 230K range, but sellers dropped prices and they went away. There are only a couple available now. If you search using Manual Transmission as a criteria you will get lots of hits because many sellers misrepresent the cars. But all you have to do is look at the prices. If the car is listed below $150K it NOT a manual.
someone was feeling good last night (not a stick) https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/2005-FERRARI-F430-SPIDER-246121
And remember it takes two people bidding against each other to drive the price up! Makes no sense here.
this went for a high number as well https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/2006-FERRARI-F430-245108
Good way to launder money if u ask me through the auction house. Got be a limited to pay 172k for that car Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2005-ferrari-f430-39/ Higher miles, but converted. It was previously on BAT last October and was RNM at $91.5k. But the seller was not really involved in the auction. It will be interesting to see the results this time. So far its not too too high. What do you think this will get to and what is a fair price for it? Seem like a great driver car!
Agreed. My theory is that people who were able to work during the pandemic saved a lot of disposable income by not traveling, going out, etc. Add to that a rethink of life that underscores how no one’s future is guaranteed. Those fitting these categories and for whom a Ferrari was “something they always wanted,” are thus finding “now” is the time, so demand is driving up prices. Can’t say I fault them. The same thing is happening with real estate here in Maui and at my beach development in Belize. Folks want to buy sight unseen in Wyoming as well.
Hey hey hey. Where was this remark in the 355 Market thread?? How much are 355 manual coupes going for again ?
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2006-ferrari-f430-berlinetta-9-2/ Round 2. $214k w BAT fee included.
