I have a factory engine bay light kit. Has anyone installed one or know of any instructions that are out there? Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I installed leds on my former Scud. I ran an independent hot wire from the front fuse box to the remotely activated junction box. Unless you have clear instructions I would not tap into any harness lines.
Yes the kit is meant to plug into factory plug someplace so there is no splicing required with this kit. just no information with which is typical Ferrari. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I did find those however my kit isn't similar to that one and is all factory plug and play and a genuine Ferrari part. I've talked to a few Ferrari techs and they can't find anything either. This must be a very top secret install lol. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yea, which would make install $$$. Strange there doesn’t seem to be any instructions on the oem one. Did you post this on the FB group by chance? I think I remember seeing it. These oem kits are also discontinued if I remember.
Hello, I had the Ferrari Collection engine bay light kit quoted for my 2015 458 Italia from a Ferrari dealer, here’s the breakdown I received: Parts: $3,409.82 Labor: $820.00 Tax: $281.31 Total: $4,211.13 I opted not to install it... Cheers!
Yea pricy for sure. The question is if anyone on this forum has it installed and what is their feedback on it. Is it bright enough is the functionality worth it? I know you can choose either red or white
I asked my local Ferrari dealer they said no directions existed. Asked the tech he told the advisor they just have to try and figure it out. That just seems crazy. That labor bill could be who knows. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
