This is why I don’t let inexperienced friends or family drive my Ferrari’s.

Your title is incorrect. He technically still owns the car. :)

Well, technically true. But I see this car being owned by insurance very soon as no insurance will pay for repair. Just at the time they see his number on the Caller ID to report the accident, they will claim total loss, then sell to somebody who will repair on his little shop and put it back into circulation; or becomes a Frankenstein donor.

    The car did.

The driver likely has wounds but nobody can see them. They are called shame and broken heart syndrome.

I think that for the short time in circulation, I have seen already too many. Haven't seen that many Pistas getting this hurt. The Pista that still breaks my heart and wasn't even mine was the Bianco Italia with brown Alcantara and multiple Tricolore details. That one still hurts.

A shame about the car. And pretty annoying reading yet another piece by a journalist that knows nothing about the world of Ferrari.

This is Europe, not a dealer in Cali that plays games. Anyone can walk in and purchase an F8 Tributo without a "relationship". Just stupid as always.

actually dealers in LA does not require relationship to get F8 nowadays. Quite a different model now with Ferrari new business approach. Dealers hate it...

Was it a PIsta?. I can't really tell, I looked for key features but between poor lighting and photo quality. The article said it was an F8.

Test drove one last yr and almost soiled myself while almost wrapping it around a light post in the center median. 700+hp and cold tires is probably what happened

Was this your first drive in a Ferrari?
I can put my elderly mother behind the wheel of a Pista and she can still drive it swiftly without issue. If you crash, it's your fault, not the car.
The ESC works really well, but it is not fool proof. Even in wet the car can bite hard if you act foolish and push your luck.

This guy ran out of talent and common sense. Quite sure he would have not crashed had he been in an Audi A4 because then he would have not pushed too hard.
