It's the only giallo M-gt I know, there is a giallo 456 gt in France. I will post another pics of the m-gt, if I find them
My register of 456M cars that came to the US shows a Giallo in 1999 and another in 2001. I don't have the same data on earlier 456s.
Yup, 575M modulars on a Barchetta must be fairly rare since they came with 18" modulars. Might have wanted better tire selection.
Si Grazie amici I have the original factory 18" rims. As soon as the rubber wears down I will return the car to the original configuration and sell the aftermarket rims. Also have the ori9ginal seats. Need to re-install the original seats. Striving for the original configuration - aside from the soon to be acquired F exhaust system, from Italia.
It is the best car! I want one. Without the hoops... And 650 hp. with a Procharger. 350 kph. easily..
Erik, if someone developed a Procharger kit for our cars I would buy one right away. Tuning would be the challenge, but there is a guy in California, one in Connecticut, and one in England who can all tune the Motronic 5.2. A Procharged V12 would be amazing. Did a little sightseeing with my 4 year old gearhead daughter today. She likes to make the exhaust sounds when we go through the many tunnels in the area: Image Unavailable, Please Login
it is possible for sure. I know there are at least two 456s with Prochargers. They must be some fast animals. Call ProCharger and ask. They have sold kits for many many years and I believe they have good knowledge about where they are sold and to which cars they are sold to! Great picture of your car!!
Thanks and I had no idea there are two 456s with Prochargers, that is awesome. I am calling them tomorrow.
mit is many many years ago since I saw it. I guess they made it work somehow... It gives you the power of a turbo, but without killing the pure sound of a N/A engine like turbo(s) normally do. The new turbo engines in the boats are nowhere near the old blower motors in regards to exhaust sound!
Yeah I had a Vortech supercharged Mustang Cobra. It was a lot of fun; not only did I like the power, but the delivery was great, almost like a progressive boost limited traction control so max torque doesn't undermine acceleration with wheelspin. They sound cool at idle too!
Finally got the 550 out for the first time yesterday! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes it is, good memory! It's a beautiful place to go for a drive and it's just 5 mins away The only issue with driving on there is that it's Miami's biggest cycling and running area, so there's a speed limit of just 45mph that goes 5-6 miles and heavily patrolled by strict police.
There is a beautiful small beach to the right just after the bridge. I have have been exhibiting at the Miami Int’l Boat show at the Maiami Marine Stadium many times. Beautiful place. I like the restaurant at the western side of the island with the view over to Miami skyline (Brickell area)!! Enjoy! Post more pics please! Your car is the «right tool» to park outside Prime One Twelve steak house on SoBe!!
I MISS MIAMI !! My car and our boat at the show. 2x 1.350 hp. Mercury Racing twin turbo! (sorry for not staying on topic. I just want to see more Miami pics.!)
Brett- Not sure what an heic file is, but photoshop does not like it. Convert to a jpeg and we can all see it.
Terry, it’s a new iPhone format that Apple surprise delivered to users recently. Pain in the rear, but there are some converters out there. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Yes, I've forgot a 456 with a Toyota Celica headlight (and Toyota supra 2jz engine if my memory is correct). For the yellow 456 gt, I've learned on Ferrarista it was the former car of Keke Rosberg. And I've found my another pics of the m-gt, registered in Germany: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
