@AZLambo - Hi, where did you get the snap covers? Can we see a close up pic? Are they screwed in? Thanks.

 

My 2013 also has the access hole in the tray, the same as yours. I’m not sure what they are trying to help us access, but there’s a hole for some strange reason.

I was considering making it easy to change my oil but unable to find any 3 inch diameter grommets. I searched Home Depot, amazon, online and local auto store and nothing in 3 inch. Where did you purchase your grommets from?

 

Just did mine on my 2011 458 and it worked perfectly with the provided picture with measurements. Certainly going to be easier next year with this set up. The 3 inch plugs i got at Home Depot at 50 cents each. they fit real tight, had to get screw driver to pry out.

 

Remember to drill a pilot hole before you drill the 3" hole, just to make sure you didn't get the measurements backwards.

 

Does anyone have a link to where they bought the plugs? I can’t find at Home Depot and the ones I ordered from Amazon are not going to work because of the thickness of the under tray

I just went to Home Depot and there's no such 3" plug in the entire store...How about a pic or sku number please.
