For sale: original Tubi muffler for F355 - for any year/model

I had this part listed on here a few weeks ago, but the buyer couldn't get it to align properly. Even on my car it was skewed to the driver side. Always figured it was an alignment issue, not in the part.

The part itself appears in good condition and does not show an apparent defect (besides a few dings on the forward side). Still, it might require a bit of wrestling or modification to align properly. Therefore this is being sold as-is at a discount.

Price $999 + shipping or local pickup in Orange county, CA

Interesting. I have the same version Tubi on my car but it skewed to the passenger's side. The problem seems to be poor alignment of the bypass inlet tube before welding. An OE muffler fits perfect so it definitely the Tubi muffler that's off. Shouldn't be hard to correct by a shop than can weld stainless. GLWS

    i doubt its the exhaust.

proper alignment requires adjustment of all the exhaust pieces/flanges/bolts/donuts etc.

where each piece connects to the other.

if the other guy expected to just take off previous exhaust and bolt on the tubi, with no adjustments to the rest, is likely why he could get it on.

i’ve switched/swapped exhaust pieces several times. and every time required tweaking all the way to the header outlets.
