People get away with a lot of things. The ex-Niki Lauda GTO, I was the driver that day, fantastic example, feels a bit more potent than the one I owned, and the other dozen or so I have driven.

Rare "lightweight" car with no ac and manual windows. Sold new to Switzerland 6 February 1985 but actually delivered 22 April 1985. Marcel Massini
We were invited to inspect it carefully a month ago and generally we liked what we saw. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I have a completely different ownership experience. I find you don't have to be an F1 driver to use the GTO as intended, you simply have to be a competent driver and I find driving one very easy in all conditions, naturally on-the-boost you have to be judicious. In fact you can use it in the real world around town off-the-boost which is why you see so many images of them being driven in cities, and for a Supercar I found it to have great visibility all around which made the driving experience inviting. Here's an image of mine I took on a day when I spent @ 4 inspired hours behind the wheel. Image Unavailable, Please Login
This might be a bit of a daft question, but what is storage like on the GTO? Say you wanted to go for a weekend trip, enough space for a few bags? Or is it truly a point a to point a car?
Unfortunally I can't remember where I took it. Unfortunally this particular pic was posted in low res on the author's FB page. But you'll find tons of other cool 288 GTO pics here https://www.facebook.com/NotBland/photos/?ref=page_internal

Marcel, thank you, but you already posted that: please look here below. I would have been nice to spend a word also about the luggage: as suppose you are fond also about the luggage, as I was told you purchased a copy of my "Ferrari by Schedoni" book. Did you like it? Ciao
I rewrite here the last line of my post here above, as it was badly written, sorry. ------------ I would have appreciated a word (from you) also about the luggage and not only a repost about the GTO 56645: I think you are fond also about the luggage as I was told you purchased a copy of my last book "Ferrari by Schedoni" and I was wondering if you liked it. Thank you very much. ciao
