Big congratulations! Love this one! One of my favorite Pateks...I can’t decide if I like this or the 116500 better.
Pam 024 with football strap. Been having a problem fitting the watch comfortably sunce I lost a lot of weight. This seems to get it right. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great watch. I always wait until after the 9th of the month to wear my Datos. The date aperture not being “balanced” messes with my ocd. The 11th and 22nd are particularly satisfying!
Hahahaha, I'm OCD as well and had to reset my bezel. Took the dog to the park for her walk so set the bezel to time how long we were out. She peed, then pooped and wanted to come home. lol
Love the watch and the band!!! Is that custom or a Panerai band? Obviously you need dietician and trainer to increase your wrist size without weight gain!!!
It is a Shinola band that was at Nordstrom Rack on clearance. I figured I would give it a try for $20.
Super casual day, so I dusted off my old Casio MMA-200W with the rare module 343. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good catch ! I never noticed that so I took it to the AP Store on Rodeo in Beverly Hills, they actually had to ship it to Switzerland (as opposed to Florida) who elected to replace the caliber and upgrade to the 2325 whilst they overhauled the entire watch, etc.... $2,722.50 for this service if anyone is curious. 3-4 months and I get it back. Watch (pictures) will be returned in brand new condition with a brand new movement. I assume they will get the screws right Very happy. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful piece. Those aren’t screws...as you may know. They’re posts. But watchmakers or other service guys not familiar with AP often mistaken them as such and try and unscrew them. Not a good idea. AP Clearwater can handle most things but a new movement is probably best accomplished by the mothership. 3-4 months and $2-3k is pretty standard for service. I have one at Clearwater right now. Their wait is a little shorter. I was told 8-10 weeks.
Really? That seems enormously stupid. All you have to do is look at them to see they don't turn. OTOH, to design the watch that way seems a little 'dishonest'...what's the point?
The 4100BA actually has a 3 piece case and they are indeed screws. It is the only model with a removable case-back, making it a true 3 part construction (case-back, mid-case and bezel). One reason I bought this one. The bezel screws go through all three parts. It is also thinner than any period AP models.
