I have a 488 in Australia and thought I'd share the experience of my carbon parts purchase from myRicambi. In Australia, import and luxury car taxes being what they are, you have to be thick skinned to suffer the frankly rude option prices for factory carbon. Around AUD13,000 for the 4 pieces of engine bay carbon which at current xrate equates to just short of USD11,000!

For approx a 1/4 of this myRicambi supplied me what you see below. They are flawless. If you can tell the difference from factory you are more anal than I am. On top of this, Ian Rattray at myRicambi is a delight to do business with and could not be have been more helpful or responsive.

Most important, the results I think speak for themselves.

    Stunning indeed !

But I cannot follow your prices .... in Europe we cannot get (all) these parts for what you etsimate as $ 3500 or $ 4000 ... may be one or two sides ...

Are you right in this ?

I had forgotten that I had purchased the lock cover previously. The side covers and the under window shield were I think USD2900 and the lock cover USD700. So all 4 parts were USD3600

The factory stickers come with the Ricambi side covers.

Agree with the others, the price for that full engine bay can't be right at 2700 Aud. The finished product does look amazing though - hard to argue that!

I've also got some carbon parts (rear tail light satellites and inner kick sills from my ricambi, awaiting to go on my 488, due any day now, and I concur the parts look truly immaculate/flawless...no different from genuine. Also agree the service was amazing.

Can't wait for the car! It's been a long wait.

Wow, that looks so good. Why would anyone not do that? The Ferrari stickers on the left - are they just recreations of the originals? That's a great touch.

Any more shots of your car OP? Please share! Love to hear what other carbon you have on it too. Had I not already locked in the carbon engine bay on my own order I would have got the full myricambi engine bay myself. Oh well....

I want to add the CF panels to the engine compartment of my 458. It really makes a big difference. I also would like to keep it stock looking and get the OEM stickers as well. I think for the 458 there are two on the left and one on the right. I would also love to know where I can get these.

You may be able to get the stickers from eurospares if your dealer cannot sell them.

Beautiful. I just ordered a license plate frame from them. Have not received it yet but it was the cheapest thing I could buy to see how the carbon matches the OEM.

I just did mine myself on my 458 Speciale. It's pretty simple, usually 5 screws on each side. The rear windy will need to be installed first.
