Apparently from some streamed interview yesterday, Leclerc on the SF21:

"It looks amazing. Hopefully it is fast but it looks good at least!"

it looks good at least!” - LOL, good enough for me.

The only thing I hope for this year is a couple of wins by Charles.
Not unattainable if you realize he managed a second and third place last year with the dog of a car he drove.

Scuderia Ferrari SF21 will feature a slightly different nose after the team worked on the optimization of the aerodynamic parts around the structural areas of the nose.

We mainly focus on a design nose or a redesigned back but our main weakness remains the suspension design and the way it interacts with aero.
Guess this is the domain where Mercedes and Red Bull are far superior.

Are you referring to the dynamic behaviour of the suspension providing a stable platform for the aero surfaces and also with tires or the physical interaction of the suspension elements with airflow?

If the first, I expect that they would have been allowed to alter suspension and damping elements without use of tokens. If the latter, the rear end has surely been reworked specifically for this.

I always understood that Ferrari lacked downforce at low speed so were affected in the traction areas.

Maybe we will luck in to a more favourable set-up for the new tires they will have this year.

The problem is that for years we do not understand how these pirelli operate. As long as this will be the case a cosmetic change on the nose of the car will not be of much use.
Remember the 2 seconds gap/lap between us and Mercedes during first laps of every GP last year ?

Oh, I’m sure the nose (if it even changes) will not fix a 2-second gap but at the I will be able to enjoy the look of the Ferrari as it fades behind the leaders. :D

The Mercedes of 2020 certainly looked more planted, not bobbing over bumps looking either over damped or under damped like the Ferrari. Whether this was from the suspension or from the aero or both I can't say--but it is plainly obvious watching the two makes run around on moderately bumpy tracks.

All this Ferrari news about improvements would actually be exciting if I knew Merc and even some of the other teams weren't capable of improving as well... and likely more than Ferrari. If Toto is going around saying how it's going to be a tough season and all that nonsense... you know they found another second above everyone else. I have the sick feeling Ferrari will be fighting for fourth or fifth with an occasional podium or gift win. I hope I'm wrong.

Pirelli and Daimler both have chunky Chinese ownership.

4th, 5th, an occasional podium and a gift win would be a huge improvement for a team that finished 6th last year. I´d sign for that right now.

Anyway, let´s remember that it´s easier to make big gains when you´re at the bottom.

They had to though, right. Glad to see side-pods are more RBR than Williams.

Used some leftover paint from the 1000 race anniversary car at the back, I see. Good cost savings effort ;)

Not a fan of the green MissionWinniw logo.

Would have looked better in Shell colors (yellow).

The red into burgundy (rear) is okay.

I can only assume that the reveal was done near the seaside and the MissionMinnow is a bit is seaweed that splashed up on the car when no one was looking.......

The worst offenders are the black MISSION WINNOW stickers all over the place. There’s no contrast with the base color, especially at the back, and in matte finish it looks like they’re done up in electrical tape.

The new nose looks cool. Let’s hope it works better.
The livery ok. I don’t mind the green contrast. That gradient is interesting. It is not the best however I’ve seen worse. I’ll take this ALL day long over the terrible Alonso era liveries.
