That's an F1. For comparison, 1998 Berlinetta Yellow/black 15k miles Challenge Grill F1 Ferrari of Scottsdale $84759 Ask. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Although that one is yellow (which I think we can all agree is probably one of the least desirable colours for resale for some reason) I do agree the F1 on eBay is shooting for the moon with their ask. Were it a manual car I think it would be a touch high still considering it needs a major.
In all honesty, I like yellow/black. Had a 1966 Chevelle, yellow with black vinyl top and interior, and as I posted a yellow/black '69 Z28. I think the 355 B and GTS look great in y/b, even though I tease. But as I got older (74 at end of month, going on 34) I'm more reserve and it doesn't suit me. But if I had to buy one, I'd go Y/B.
Didn’t realize you were a Pisces John. That explains everything . Jk... pisces here as well. My bday was yesterday.
Love yellow 355’s just need a setting where you get variety of trees / weather / clouds where it can pop. Too much sun makes its lines disappear because it’s so bright at that point. And not all personalities can pull off a yellow sports car... So because of that, it does fetch lower prices in many cases. Higher than Argento. Lower than red and black and unique one offs these days... Image Unavailable, Please Login My 95 is now in Canada three owners later... perfect spot. Robb
I'm not saying I don't like yellow 355s by any means. Just not at the top of most people's list for colour. The 355 does look great in pretty much any colour but as Robb said as well, it takes the right setting for certain colours to pop. Like I said a few pages back about white 355s...the lines of the 355 fall flat on a white car unless in the right lighting.
This video is by @junglistluder I believe The car was originally delivered to Evander Holyfield if I'm not mistaken.
Truth is, always favored blues. (Missing my blue '56 Chevy.) 1st cars was a 49 Ford back in '63 ($75). That car spent a lot of time at drive in movies and local "lover's lanes". Them Miatas sure were fun. Image Unavailable, Please Login
But there is no doubt that side by side this yellow GTS looks better than the red one. For me, red on a 355 just doesn't do it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It seems prices are going up here in Europe as well and fewer are for sale, i bought my GTS manual two years ago when it bottomed out here, doing a full mechanic restoration right now getting it up to spec, the color combo is unique. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
He does love green if I recall correctly. Jamiroquai I don't know if that's his though as googling shows a different combo for his old 355. Looks like black on red interior GTS?
