Yes, said to have been born on the 18th of Feb. 1898 and that his birth was recorded only on the 20th.
That’s an interesting one. There is a Grand Prix at Imola on 18th April.... Since Galiera said “we are going to a special place” and the launch is mid April, could be? It is considered Ferrari’s home GP circuit. And the name of Imola circuit? Circuit Enzo e Dino Ferrari...
I like where you are going. Maybe 812 SFF...Super Blanking Fast. That moniker would certainly be more visceral and emotive.
The only thing about the Imola name is that 812 doesn’t really work because of the extra power. Could just be “Imola” or maybe another form of numbers? F12 never had this problem.
In my opinion, they won't copy Pagani. One could easily say Ferrari has more "rights" to use the "Imola" name (after all, the official track's name is Autodromo Enzo & Dino Ferrari) but I still think they will choose another name for the upcoming VS. Same for "812 Ultima".
accompanying text: automobiliardent So the much awaited Ferrari 812GTO has been shown to a select few Ferrari clients ahead of its launch and here’s a sneak peek at Maranello’s newest steed! While the name still remains a mystery as to whether it’ll be called the 812GTO or 812Lightweight or 812Verzione Speciale or something else altogether, what we are certain of is that this will be a whole different animal, nothing compared to the existing 812Superfast. I mean, just look at all they bodywork on the image! We also understand that there’ll be 999 coupes made alongside 499 Apertas. Simply cannot wait to see this!! https://www.instagram.com/p/CL9tKFhDSUk/
Looks like the optional transversal stripe of the tdf has made it into the 812VS as a functional feature, interesting!
Could be forward opening bonnet, to allow the hood to be lower as compared to the 812SF and would use an airbag system to pop the bonnet in case of impact like Jaguar did nearly a decade ago... https://www.businessinsider.com/jaguar-f-type-pyrotechnic-hood-to-protect-pedestrians-2013-8
