I am doing a belt change on my Ferrari F355. Does anyone know the torque spec on the F355 hydraulic tensioners? I replaced mine which were original but when I took it off it had been tightened. Quite tight not loose at all and I thought that part was supposed to move.

They shouldnt move only the bearing holder should pivot smoothly.

25 Nm for the M8 bolts holding the tensioner body
50Nm for the larger bolt holding the bearing.

The arm on which the tensioner bearing is attached should move freely on it's bushing. At our last major, one of these arms was nearly stuck solid, the other moved easily. Remove these arms, and check for corrosion in the arm pivot.
