To put gas in my F12, I have to pull the "foreskin" back of the gas nozzle so it won't click off . . .I made a foam donut to put on the nozzle & it works . . . Image Unavailable, Please Login How have you F 12 owners dealt with this?

Many McLarens have the same issue too, so this is a great device, much better than circumcising the nozzle.

I have the same problem with my 458 Spider. The first two years with the car I never had any problems with gas pumps then one day I couldn't get gas to flow unless I pulled the covering back on the nozzle. Now it's 50/50 if it works, even if I go to the same pump at the same station.

Does your foam donut end up smelling like gas? Where do you store it in the car to make it convenient when you hit the gas station?

Not hilarious in California. The gas pump will only work on my FF if you pull back rubber foreskin with two fingers on nozzle and hold it the whole time until full

First time I put gas in my F12 I felt like a complete idiot. I could just imagine what everyone at the gas station was thinking... look at this Jack a^! in the Ferrari can’t even put gas in it.

I bought one of these $.99 electrical conduit screw pieces. Put it between the fuel fill and nozzle, then I keep it right inside the fuel door. Works like a charm.

Similar multi-year discussion in the 458 forums: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/filling-up-the-458-with-gas.398989/. Someone else has gone with a grommet for the same purpose: https://www.fillernecksupply.com/1963-1976-mopar-b-body-fuel-tank-grommet-filler-neck-seal/?gclid=CjwKCAiAlb_fBRBHEiwAzMeEdovprEWPdvtQws9l-H0PMJ9zxRx43G5HOhXAY4FDjQVRfAs5ufbHkhoCWAYQAvD_BwE. I just wish I could figure out why I didn't have a problem for over two years and now I have a problem 50% of the time at the same station at the same pump. No doubt, CA gas pumps are stupid. Each of my cars requires different approach at the gas station.
