I wonder what you might know about this picture?

    What model?
    What year?

i'm particularly interested, because it is fitting the 165HR15 Cinturato CA67, that i should be getting a fresh delivery of next month.

So according to the data i have up untill 1968 this was the Pirelli that Porsche fitted, untill 1968 when Pirelli brought out the CN36, which was fitted to lots of cars as a 165R15, but at the same time the 911 went 185/70R15.

But i'd love to know more about that picture and wonder if i would be allowed to use it in adverts.

That is Linda Gray with a 1966 Porsche 912. She was about 25 years old then, she's 80 now. Interestingly, in the early 2000's she play Mrs. Robinson from The Graduate when they did the stage version in London. But she is better known as Sue Ellen Ewing, J.R. Ewing's wife in the tv show Dallas.

    Car ain't bad either~ :)

On all the other forums i have asked this question on they say:

"The slight flares on the front & rear wings indicate that it's a LWB model - hence '69 model year on ..."

That could be true, they are a bit more pronounced than the standard flare from 65-68.
