Anyone wrapped the top on their 488?

    As I search for (stalk?) a 488 GTB coupe, I find I have a strong preference for the Nero top on red, white, or yellow cars. But by the time I check the boxes for my other needs (carbon elements, race seats) there are very few, if any, choices left.

    Has anyone here had the top of their 488 or 458 wrapped in black to mimic the factory two tone spec? If so, can you share your satisfaction with the results... and maybe a pic or two?

    I did. Got sick of it after a while And pulled it off. Cost me like 300 bucks. I’ll dig up a pic later and post it.

    Before it became a factory option lots of early 458 did this - should be possible to look up some old threads & pictures

    Ignore the rims. Those came with the car when I bought it. I swapped them out later

    Mine is aftermarket painted, along with the tail and sideview mirrors. Looks great! (Although you have to PPF the black IMO, it swirls too easily)

    I think the two tone spec is amazing. My 458 Spider is wrapped gray to match the door sill (PEXS) and I think it is spectacular. Image Unavailable, Please Login

    I kinda like the gloss black top better than the flat blk.

    Of course you could wrap a 488 in burlap and it would still look gorgeous!

    Slight difference b/w the coupe and spider is the extra thin trim that follows the glass line. The only one wrap that i saw didnt look good after a few months on that trim.

    HA those rims were making me dizzy. Sam has good taste.

    OP, I wrapped the roof, buttresses and kicksills of my Grigio Titanio 458 Spider gloss black. Provided nice contrast.

    Look into black ppf for the roof, that way you get the color change and protection.
