What’s this plug for? I was looking for a pass though from the engine compartment to the center console.
Can't say I've noticed it before. What are the wire colours? I thought it might be for the optional ABS cutout switch, but I don't recognise the wire colours.
The only 3 pin plug I could find with that wire combination is related to the tire pressure sensing system. i.e. a diagnostic plug. I don't know if it was ever operational on the F355 and I don't know what it would be doing in the centre console My 5.2 instrument panel has the warning light for the system, but it's not hooked up to anything. Here's the wiring diagram in which it appears: https://www.dropbox.com/t/lFgnC3eH5dh6wjNN Bottom, middle (equipment number "10013").
If you didn't want your engine lid open warning, I suppose you could use that wire for your purposes. Closed lid = open circuit.
Hi Ian, I am reassembling a 97 F355 GTS Manual which I purchased disassembled. Are your wiring diagrams available? Some connections are obvious, but I need more information on which connectors go where. Any help would be appreciated.
There you go... https://www.dropbox.com/t/NsEAZVZo8cjnPbXx I've squeezed a lot of notes into some of the diagrams, but sometimes you have to search around for them.
