Two years and around 1200. That's what I've heard from my dealer and what I've seen posted here in other threads from folks far more in the know than me.
2 year run only (confirmed by Ferrari) and 1200-1500 total (confirmed by 2 dealers)... probably less....
idk... i think the overabundance of pista's scared off a lot of the speculators... i think i saw one on sale in europe, i was bit surprised because the 6 month wait wasn't up. i did look into it and what i learned is a dealer spec'd the car and then turned it around to sell it, but i am not sure how that works. i think a lot of people who got an allocation are wondering if they should hold on to it or sell it. if my 812 VS allocation is confirmed, i may sell mine... but i haven't driven it yet, so that might not be completely accurate...haha.
There are a couple of Pre-owned (delivery miles) on the Swiss market. Both around 500k. I would assume that's a bit over MSRP and prices will come down to MSRP, similar to the way they did with the Pista. Sent from my BBF100-6 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
For my edification, I recently read through Ferrari's FY2020 results presentation. There are a few data points in their pack that could shed some light on this topic. Total shipments worldwide (all F cars) were 9,119 in 2020. Of this 24% of shipments were V12s. The only V12s in production were the Iconas, 812SF, 812 GTS and GT4 Lusso/T. They also make it clear that the 812 GTS and the Iconas were amongst the key drivers of results in 2020. Taking into account the Iconas are rare air and the 812SF and Lussos was gliding toward end of production, I would say its fair to assume that at least 70% of V12 production in 2020 were GTS's giving a total of approximately 1530 cars. They also make it clear that they plan to make up for lost production due to the pandemic in 2021 so very likely they produce more GTS's this year.
Stateside there's at least one on the market: https://www.marshallgoldmanoh.com/used-vehicle-2021-ferrari-812-gts-c-1092/
Wow, October 2020 build and already for sale? Not even 6 months and clearly it wasn't delivered in October, more like November. So either the owner really didn't like it or they are a flipper. Either way it's not a good reflection on Ferrari or the car.
107 mi? No question this is a pure speculation play. Go ahead and "inquire," imagine they're asking $100K over what they paid
812 Production started June 2017. 2196 were produced in total in the first 3 years ie July 2020. Assuming a 5 year run, maybe production cease in 2022.
Once again, I am forever fascinated by first posts from long time forum members. Welcome to the team.
Hi, and welcome on F-Chat! First post here, but maybe you’re already follower and read many threads before posting. Glad to have new « posters »! Also, sorry to contradict you but the numbers of 812SF produced in the first 3 years is about twice the number you mentioned. The production has not ended but there was boy a very few now leaving the factory since July 2020. Production of 812SF should end in 2021.
Ferrari recalled all 2197 Super-fast production units for rear hatch window replacement ( June 2017 through July 2020) So bingo, here is your production numbers announced by Ferrari. GTS variant, does not have the hatch and are not affected.
Regarding this recall campaign, here is a sum up of what I could find: > 1063 cars in the US > 140 cars in Australia > no data found for other countries and markets Do you have a source/link mentioning these 2197 cars? I’ll be curious to see the details for all markets. And sorry to contradict you again, the whole 812SF production is much closer to 5000 than to 2200.
As of today more than '5000 (five thousand) 812 Superfast Coupés (not GTS!) have been produced so far. The rear window recall campaign includes more than 4'500 cars. See separate threads. Marcel Massini
Thank you Marcel for your confirmation of the level of 5000 - so much for from 2197. Regarding the GTS, I won’t be surprised if Ferrari builds up to 2500-3000 units.
That's about what my dealer said yesterday - GTS orderbooks closed - Expect about 50-60% of the 812SF production
