That was the set. And worked them down more.i have the 430/360cs front calipers now. Just trying to work a deal with someone for the rear calipers. But it will be a full oem big brake up grade with better rotors.
The 430 ccm master is different. Different how I don't know but its a different part #. I will try it first and go from there. And just got the rear caiplers coming.
The CCM vs Steel Master Cylinder is different because it provides additional assistance vs the level you get from the Steel Master Cylinder which is noticeably less assistance so you get better brake progression. Actually I ran with the Steel Master Cylinder for a long time before eventually swapping it over to the CCM version. Some observations. I actually preffered the feeling you get from the reduced level of assistance pressure (i.e the original Steel Master Cylinder). The only reason I kept the CCM version (which is Gold vs Black so easy to spot the difference) is that its a considerable weight saving over the original one. The steel one results in better pedal feel and braking progression but ofcourse you must apply more pressure (not insane amount and totally natural feeling) to haul the car to an emergency stop. Its not a night and day difference but certainly noticeable.
No, its optional but there are differences in pedal pressure and feel. Comes down to personal preference and brake feel and there is a weight saving with the CCM one.
Well the purists might cringe but I think it will go 100 % better with my grigio titanium. And making my car the way I want it. I did this when I upgraded to CCB. Did you use high temperature paint? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I use exopy for the primer and the color is a single stage urethane. I have done it about 10 times and never ran into a problem. Now if your tracking the car over time anything will discolor. But its all in the prep to.
Your telling me .. waiting for brake lines and rear cailpers will be here this week. On the hunt for the ccm ebrake caipers. But ever source thinks these are gold and charging way to much
I have a new ebrake caliper for the left side....but it's for an F430.....I don't know if it would work. PM me if your interested.
Needs to be for the CCM rotor size. Stock 430 is 330mm and 430ccm rotor in the rear is 350mm 20mm difference. Once I get the caiplers I put the rotor on i will like to try and make a spacer or something its only a ebrake
It's for a CCB for the 430...yes the rear is 350mm ...part # 196401. Do you need the ebrakes for the normal F430?
Well the parts pile is getting big. Got the rear 360cs/430ccm rear caiplers. Now to clean and re paint View attachment 5102305
