https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/838698100/overview/ Verde Silverstone Spider on Tan Interior 50,000mi ZFFXR48A3V0108663 $53,800. Must have a story or needing major maybe? Seems cheap even for the higher miles.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/x/133666646060 Ferrari Spider 1998 - Manual Gearbox, - N.A.R.T Blue with Tan Connolly Leather - 13,250 Miles. - Recent engine out, belt service including new clutch, tensioners, and fluids (Bills and photos present) California supplied car, 3 owner total, purchased from the 3rd owner (a dentist based in Arizona) Very nice Spider. Being an original US car I don't think it's difficult to bring back here at all.
manual and I like the color! the market tends to not love the hunter green, a bunch of 456's with that color.
Are those Kinesis K58s on your car? I have those on my 993 and love them. Can you share a picture from the side?
That is a great buy. May have some needs, color in US hurts it and may be a considerable discount. But won’t pass too many others on the HWy for sure. Pics look pretty good. A lot of car for $53k and maybe $49 buys it!?!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Per CARFAX that is a 1 owner car! From Connecticut. No accident history. Bought at auction 12/11/16..... probably paid in 30’s for it, dammit! Been sitting in VA for awhile I bet or going from dealer to dealer having needs. Offer in the mid $40’s and see where it goes. Who cares if you put $10k plus in it. You are keeping for awhile. Anything back of $50k is a great deal and paying up to ask is still tolerable. Color makes it hard to resell though. Edit: I corrected myself, realizing it is in VA at an old Hummer dealership outside of DC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I agree. For anyone looking for a nice Spider that you can drive without worrying too much about this is probably as good of a deal you're going to find anytime soon. Personally love green on 355's. There was a nice verde inglese for sale in France but it was a GTS. If it was a GTB I would've made an offer.
Who would not rush to buy that for $79k right now!!!! Dang! As I said, not my first color choice, but rarity trumps that for me. Wow! Nice appreciation in 7 years. Fantastic!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you want to make money, buy stocks or real estate. I must admit, I used to be consumed with values and potential profits. No longer... Buy on and drive it. Heck, drive it everyday if you want. Trust me, life is short.
Sorry guys not saying it looks bad but the lines of the 355 fall flat on white at most angles. Even that pic that you just posted most of the curves are basically invisible.
I see every car as an investment. Short or long term. I never want to be behind, ever. That might mean drive and hold or buy right and keep cost down. The F355 is extremely challenging to own affordably. Part of the desire to me. A personal challenge, sort of. I made the worst car buy ever for my wife on 12/14/20. Will cost me over $10k, yuck!!! In 26 years of marriage and cars, not to bad. I am a big boy and can handle it. Super sucks, but alas, only money ;-) The 355 is a brute to own financially. It can kick your ass quickly. But maybe, once in awhile you can buy it, enjoy it and modestly keep up with maintenance and smiles per mile. The GTB I just bought should make all of that possible Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I hear ya. Perhaps a really good detail can bring out the lines better. Just interesting to see as white Ferraris did not become popular until 458. White F430's/Scuds now command a premium over RC as there a far fewer of them.
I actually couldn't care less about resale. It is what it is if/when that time comes. I do most general maintenance by myself. The engine outs I can't be bothered with so once every 5 years for major expense is fine with me.
Interesting... VIN: ZFFXR41A1V0109045 White GTB 355 Looks like it was at Copart few months ago. Another one bites the dust? https://www.copart.com/lot/48311290/Photos/1997-ferrari-f355-gtb-wa-north-seattle
