Can't find any broadcast information on the 12 Hour. Will be streaming only?
Thanks. My on-screen guide doesn't show any coverage Saturday evening. Not surprising. My local NBC affiliate pre-empted an hour of the final two hours of the Daytona 24 to re-run a 700 Club episode. At least I caught the last hour of the race. NBCSN ran most of the Sebring race late last year didn't they? I did notice several Premier League matches that afternoon. Wonder if this is the future when NBCSN morphs into USA Network. How is the IMSA streaming service?
Risi is pretty upset about the BOP, they could have won Daytona 24 if they had not been slowed so much from potential performance.
Ive got my money on the Porsche to win... a bunch of reasons... just wait and see. It's a long race and a lot of things can happen (mechanical, contact, etc) but on driver line up, BoP, race pace the Wright Porsche is the one to watch.
Hopefully, by race time, NBCS will have their issues with freezing and jumping pictures sorted out. Really annoying. BHW
Sorta... Risi only handpicks one or two races a year to run so not surprising they aren't there. WeatherTech moved from GTD in a Ferrari to GTLM in a Porsche for this year. Those are the only IMSA regulars. Occasionally we get 1 or 2 more for the Rolex 24, but rarely anything else.
Risi has been bitching about BoP for years, despite having some pretty good success in the few races they do run. I can't imagine IMSA wanting to cater too much to a team that only runs 1 or 2 races a year.
So Derani on pole but zero or almost zero Ferrari GT cars? I Miss being there for 333SP victories two decades ago!
Zero. See my post a few up. WeatherTech was the only consistent entrant over the last few years. They wanted to run GTLM with Ferrari but couldn't get a deal done and switched to Porsche. Sent from my SM-G970U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Enjoying the heck outta this race! Too bad for Pipo Doucherani... Less than ten minutes before NBCSN goes live broadcast again - should be a fantastic last three + hours.
Porsche 1-2 in GTD with 3 hours to go. Heylen-Hindman-Long in the Wright Motorsports car the favorites
IMSA does not need Ferrari... I feel Ferrari needs to be there racing. I spent the day at Sebring yesterday and up till 3:30pm today. I was all over the track, having a blast and meeting and talking with people. It’s noted no Ferrari in field and that the Ferrari main team Risi is not there and that Weather Tech jumped ship from Ferrari to Porsche. Ferrari is losing it in racing BIG TIME!
Watching the Vette-Bimmer battle from above in GTLM with 30 mins. to go. Both cars have the same acceleration, the Vette handles better but the BMW has the brakes. Should be door to door at the end with all the classes from the AMG caused yellow.
Superb race. The BMW pit fire flare-up was incredible - glad no one was hurt. Some surprises near/at the end .
Great victory for Seb Bourdais, Duval and Vautier! Second wins for the first two, Duval had won with the Oreca Peugeot, Panis and Lapierre ten years ago. 1'4 second margin wow and they had been a lap down earlier!
