My mom always bought the Kraft stuff. Its called Kraft Dinner on the box here. Its very popular in Canada, herd it joked that its a national dish.
Thanks. Yours too man. I tried a bit of the sauce I have left. Pretty good after having a day to meld.
Not IKEA! Those are glasses my parents got as a wedding gift about 60 years ago. We use them probably more than we should. And since we’re not gonna live forever we use everything. We love meatloaf with ketchup. She has good taste! We didn’t add it this time because it had a sauce on it already.
Actually, I didn't wrap this time. The color was coming along great and TBH I'm not a big rib fan. But I like to experiment with them occasionally. So what I did was mix 2:1 ratio of apple juice to pineapple juice. A splash of rice wine vinegar because of the Chinese 5spice in the rub. I probably never use enough vinegar. I sprayed it the first three hours, after hour one I sprinkled white sugar on top before spraying. Hour two I sprinkled cinnamon and sprayed. Sprayed only hour 3. I can't remember if I did 2.5 or 3 hours but, at that time I stopped spraying and applied my sauce each time. If I didn't put up what I did for the sauce and interested I remember some of it. Everything was done as the process went on. I try to get ideas from various recipes and then decide from there. I took them off when the thermometer glides through like butter. As you can tell in that one picture where I bent the end of the ribs up. It required no effort to bend it like that. Probably best attempt so far.
Left over ribs tonight. Taking my pots, pans and most of my dishes to the new place today. Goal is to have the kitchen moved for the most part today. Then it will be fast food, no dishes food for dinners.
Ramen last night. We had only a 40 minute window to cook while the power was on. Tonight, I did prep work during the daylight and made ground beef tacos when the lights came on. It's like indoor camping, but I'm ready for this cold to go away! T

We do. Didn't want to cook in the dark with the power off. Power generally on for an hour at a time, so it's good...T
Must be incredibly stressful. This cold is crazy. Cold and snow here every few days, 6" last week and another 7-10" for Thursday. And more on Monday. Glad we don't have to go anywhere.
Found a box of Costco chicken cordon bleu and a bag of perogies . So that was dinner last night. The snow has melted, today is a sunny day. Going to do a few pick up loads to the new house. Had laborers yesterday, but won't have them back until the weekend. I'll probably end up having Burger King tonight. Its $2 Whopper Weds.
Thanks Tom. Gonna carve into it tomorrow. Put the ribs in pork n beans and baked it. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Good idea, particularly since you felt something was missing and don't have a love affair with ribs. If you like Asian Food (Five Spice was a hint), give ribs a mix of ingredients, esp. Sauces to finish off with last no-wrap cycle. Hoisin, Black Bean, Sciracha and/or Chili Oil, whatever floats your boat. I did that once @15 years ago & foolishly have not done so since, as it was Fan-tas-tic. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
