The later sentiment somewhat contradicts the first doesn't it? Lewis is living rent free in a lot people's heads, that is for sure.
This is why sports figures should keep their mouths shut.........nothing is ever forgotten in the day where everyone has a camera on them at all points of time.
For anyone who wants to have some fun, "Planettoilet" now writes articles calling elton, Sir crapilton, lololo, how much more ridiculous can they get!!!
meh, not really. He was right though - I certainly thought those were particularly bleak boring years. But none of the blame lay with Adrian Newey or Vettel... Lewis said as much (if you look beyond the sensational headline.)
People in the public eye are constantly solicited for comments, so it's not surprise that they end up contradicting themselves There is always somebody who think it's clever to resurrect what has been said in a different context years ago So I wouldn't read too much into it It's like the tifosi complaining that Mercedes is dominating, but conveniently forgetting the Schumacher years
I don't agree. In 2010 Red Bull was so dominant, the only time the WDC was at the top of the standings was at the end of the final race. Red Bull only had 2 years of dominance. 2011 and 2013. 5 years is shorter than 7. And of those 5, only 3 where dominant. Whilst there was 4 years of Red Bull WDC championships in a row and 5 years of Ferrari WDC championships in a row, there have now been 7 Mercedes WDC championships in a row, all of them in F2002/4 levels of dominance. So yeah. Quite hypocritical again from Lewis.
Yes, but if you tell this to a certain meber of this forum, i'm pretty sure he'll find a way to say that 5=7, lolo...and despite trhat, there was another massive diference, Many of Michael's victories where due to his talent as a driver, his amazing performances i therain, his ability to drive at qualifying pace all race, etc, etc, while elton simply wins based on machinery superiority, nothing else, because if you put him against Charles, max or Ricci in similar cars, they will destroy him...and everyone knows it
You all should tone it down a bit, Lewis might be aware of your views here, he maybe concerned. He might not be sleeping well at night.
If people were fully honest they would give u more credit honestly. Let me explain: I read RB only had 2 years of dominance and they only really won 2 close title at seasons end. That’s fair. But then it’s only fair to say that Hamilton also had with Merc a couple seasons he came back from behind to win the title. Overall I do think he has the most dominant car ever but one should be fair. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not really, the thread states Crapilton is an idiot. Many seem to approve. Apart from Louise's boys choir of course. Still a mystery what these fellas are looking for on a forum called Ferrarichat.
Yes true that. Michael did have great cars in the 2002 and 2004 especially. The 2001 was also a great car. Yes being fair, 2017 and 2018 where the ''tougher'' seasons for Merc, but more in the sense that their immediate competitors (Ferrari) where close in performance, but never had a real upperhand. Ferrari had luck on their side early on with a qualifying snafu for Lewis in Monaco. By midway the drivers where within 1 point of each other. I do believe this was the year that Mercedes influenced Pirelli to make different tyres for certain events because Mercedes struggled to heat them...which paid of massively. Also Mercedes' 2nd half of the season they where clearly the best car. 2018 started of relatively similar, by halfway point Vettel was ahead (8pts) but this is a bit skewed because of a dnf for Lewis (Vettel the race after had a DNF swaying the title towards Lewis again). Again the 2nd half of the season Mercedes was leaps and bounds better than the rest. Both 2017 and 18 started out promising but fizzled out after the halfway point due to Mercedes adapting much better.
Fans of the Scuderia - fans of the sport and at least some level of respect for competitors. Semi-adult discourse - e.g above the level 'Crapilton,' 'Fairy' etc.
