Hello FChat, I am offering my 1995 355 Berlinetta for sale. I purchased this car via FChat a little over 2.5 years ago. I have put about 6k miles on it during my ownership and it has been a great car for me. Nothing I own makes me grin the way this does as it climbs the rev range! Unfortunately, living in Boston our roads are such that I can really only use the 355 for “Driving” as opposed to occasional commuting and living life – our road surfaces esp in town can resemble NASA moonscapes and I cannot put this car through such ordeals. The details are as follows: 1995 355 GTB. 66k miles – that’s not a typo it has been driven but is well maintained. 6 speed manual (obv) Black (nero) exterior and tan interior. Currently on staggered HRE 305 wheels w/ Michelin Pilot Sport 4S: 19” rear & 18” front – 2016 date codes on tires. I have the OEM wheels that will come with the car. Capristo exhaust – original exhaust comes with the car also. Fabspeed headers. H&R adjustable springs. Stickies are all done. Period correct Nakamichi head unit w/ aux and Bluetooth adapter, new speakers. Illumination on the head unit matches the interior instrument lighting. 3M Crystalline window tint – not dark but excellent for mitigating radiative heat. Toolkit in its original Schedoni case, owner’s manuals in original leather case portfolio, car cover. The vehicle had a >30K mile major service performed in summer 2016 along with significant other work. This is also when the new exhaust and headers were installed. I have all of the service history from the PO over the past five years and for the work I have had performed at specialists here in the Boston area. Highlights include: Major Service “2” including replacing rear main seal, all coolant hoses, clutch slave cylinder, reseal oil pan. Valve job including cylinder head gaskets, valve guides, inlet, exhaust, water gaskets. Transmission rebuild: seals, gaskets, covers. HVAC repair. Replaced alternator harness. R&R Power steering pump and reservoir. R&R steering rack boots. R&R CV boots. Seats re-dyed and center console and parking brake leather restored. New clutch w/ Hill Engineering clutch release bearing and pilot release bearing – Fall 2018. New motor mounts and oil hose – Spring 2019. New starter and HVAC control module – Spring 2020. The car does not look like such a high mileage car (in the Ferrari world) thanks to the interior work and paint correction. There is slight wear on the driver seat side bolster thanks to my girth and there is slight leather shrinkage at the rear of the steering wheel. Everything works as it should including heat, AC, all electrics, no warning lights. I can send more detailed info and photos for those interested. I am asking $70K. Beautiful car. And Eric is still the king. Educate me being the last service in 2016, would it need a major service now? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. Yes given the five year interval I would do the service this year. I would budget for what most independents refer to as the "Major Service Basic" given how much was done to the car over the past five years. I can provide more details directly if you like. Oh I almost forgot: "GGMU!"
A few questions: 1. Stickies re-done by who? 2. What is the condition of the OE wheels? 3. Factory cats still on? 4. When was valve guide job done?
Nice car. Is it an original EU car or did you just change the indicator lights to the transparent ones?
I’m French so grew up with the king! Can’t believe he retired so early. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well priced considering condition and sorting. Take it to an indy shop and get a "quick" major done and enjoy for another 5 years. . GLWS
Thank you @BigTex @tres55 @Natkingcolebasket69 and @calder1 Looking forward to chatting more @carnutdallas
The 355 is under agreement with a deposit. Thank you to all the interested parties on here and to the folks who contacted me. I had some great conversations with some really good car people.
