Just received the email from John announcing the postponement until April- seems like a prudent move under the circumstances, and I welcome it.

I got the email this morning. I think it’s a good idea even though it’s impossible for me because it moves it too close to Goodwood Members’ Meeting. Well done by Barnes & Co., though.

Assuming the alternative dates were dictated by the Breakers. Unfortunately the dates will conflict with Monaco Historic GP this year.

Between The Breakers and PBIR, I'm sure that rescheduling was a real problem- nevertheless, the prudent thing to do.
As for Monaco, I'm not sure that the Historic GP will happen this year, nor that the F1 GP will have spectators- I guess we'll see. Last year's F1 cancellation was a bummer for me, as I've been to every GP de Monaco since 1992, although I haven't yet managed to see the Historics.

Hello Ira, how are you? Long time no see.

The historics is sooooo much nicer than F1, ten times less people so no one to walk on your shoes, no nouveau riche show offs or uncouth shirtless people, just decent historic racing fans, great grids from 1930's to 1970's spirited racing with some very fast drivers. Paddock access to almost anyone. Then you have the various auctions in superb locations and the chance to meet lots of people you know. Much better than being a sardine in a can with a zillion others. I went to F1 twice, 84, 86 was in the BMW France balcony first floor up in the building right at the angle of Ste Devote but still prefer the Historics.

I hope transatlantic travel will have resumed by April and Europeans can attend Cavallino and Americans Monaco...

Thanks, Marc! All’s well (enough) here- hopefully you can say the same.
I do intend to make it to the Historics some time soon, for many of the reasons you mention.
And yes, let’s hope that the COVID situation is under control soon so that Cavallino, Monaco, etc., etc. can get back on track- pun intended!

We have since moved, but maybe post the question in the Florida forum. We used to host a yearly cookout on the way back to town for most visitors and enjoy some steak...

Received a call from The Breakers this morning informing me that they'd opened the room block for the new April dates, so I made a new reservation to replace the January one they'd cancelled.

    The article says it's a 750 Monza but isn't 0428M a 735 S?
