And at completely the opposite end of the scale I saw this in the Mall and thought it was fun so picked it up Image Unavailable, Please Login
No, apparently it is a 47mm 'Big Bold Jellyfish' quartz. Sometimes I tire of the big value / image watches taking it too seriously. A little fun sometimes is nice, when at the pool or beach or just spooning around in the cars for early morning runs
That is a very cool, fun watch to wear! I just saw it is waterproof to 30 m. I really like the colors like a Mondrian or Bolotowsky.
10mm thick. It makes a really great whirring sound when it changes single minutes, and an even longer whir on the change of the hour when the tens hand resets from 5 to 0. That's pretty cool. It gently reminds you that it's there. Matt
Does anyone know if Jaeger LeCoultre made a watch like this? It’s a Canal Street clone, but it’s gorgeous. Power reserve, date pusher at 2:00. But inner workings by a drunk Rube Goldberg, so it failed miserably. Matt Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Found it, minus the lovely Art Nouveau 12, 3, 6, and 9: https://www.chrono24.com/jaegerlecoultre/jaeger-lecoultre-master-ultra-thin-reserve-de-marche-automatic-silver-dial-mens-watch---q1378420--id8169029.htm Image Unavailable, Please Login Those numerals are what I love about the fake... Matt
Have the exact same piece. That is quite rare. The gold with the brown strap was MUCH more expensive than the standard example.
Yes, a Bulova Accutron from '66! I agree the steel versions are pretty common. It is probably a late Spaceview conversion... I bought the band recently. Not sure if the band is NOS or a repro. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I know mine is original since I have the box and papers...but I’m sorry I’m not enough of an expert to confirm or deny the originality of your strap. Sorry. Still a sweet example. Well done sir.
