Actually, too beautiful. It is way over restored. I seriously doubt the car looked that good back in the day. As much as I dislike Glickenhaus, his car, whatever it is, looks like a race car.
I suppose the novelty of owning cars and dealerships wore off and now he's moved onto owning car manufacturers... Hope his funding gets the Valkyrie completed.
Yes, they definitely don't like it. I find it hard to believe he will sell it though, because he's got the track only version of the Valkyrie on order, so the circuit Mont Tremblant would be perfect for it. He also uses the track during the summer. I wonder why he's suddenly wanting to sell it.
It is only rumours at this point. But I do have a few clients in the realestate/land development fields and they have floated that info to me during random conversation.. Question..is there an Aston Martin dealer in Quebec?
The only thing I can think of is a permanent relocation? Dealership + track + cars all going...I can see Switzerland, Monaco or UK (latter still is favourable to foreigners tax wise). With Lance likely to base himself in any of those 3 countries for the foreseeable future, family may want to be close.
Is it possible that they are planning on removing the track? And I believe Montreal has an Aston Martin dealership.
Only reason why I ask..is the Toronto Aston dealer has been moving a fair amount of super expensive Astons as of late .and that includes an order for the Valkyrie and the purchase of the Aston Zagto with the DB4 Gt continuation series car for a cool 19 million (cnd funds)for the pair. I wonder...
I believe he's been based out of Europe for almost a decade now. I've seen images of his fxxk up at the track a year or two ago during the summer, so he's definitely still using it. Toto Wolff even used the track not too long ago from what I've read. Maybe he's just replacing everything Ferrari with Aston Martin, since it's a conflict of interest
Wow that's incredible! Very possible it's Stroll, I can't think of anyone else on the East coast of Canada who would be buying multiple rare Aston Martins like that.
Replacing these Ferraris with a reproduction DB4 GTZ and an overpriced DBS Superleggera lookalike is kinda sad.
Ah wasn't aware he was Europe based all that time already. I'm not sure if owning a bunch of (older) Ferraris is a conflict of interest in the grand scheme of things...
One Sunday morning in Cologny (the upscale suburb of Geneva where he resides) 3 or 4 years ago I saw a plain red 250LM being driven round. It wasn't him as I had just watched the Melbourne Grand Prix and he was down there but probably his...no?
The 330 P4 is such a special car. While I can see some conflict of interest regarding the Corse Clienti cars, I don't think the vintage cars would be a problem.
Interesting, it was Australian GP day in March 2017, 18 or 19, I saw the car coming out of chemin de Ruth turning east onto route de la Capite on a sunday morning drive. It had a normal nose so it was not 6051 which I drove for an article 23(!) years ago. No time to take photos.
Yes, yes...the cars are nice. But... Have you ever seen the babes he hangs out with? Man has good taste.
Looks like the TR and GTO are being brokered by Kidston. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
So it really sounds like Aston Martin does not want anyone owning a competitor car. Even if they are 20 years old.. So lame.
