Chinese take out with my family. I've been craving Chinese for a few days now. But its only worth doing if four people are eating. We order the dinner for six. Leaves enough left overs for lunch or dinner the next day.

You just can't leave a pic like that, and not give some details!
How big? Where did you get them? And, how big of a harpoon did it take to land them? :D

More misshapen beef tenderloin from Costco. These must be the leftovers from when they trim a tenderloin to make filet mignons. $11/lb. Oh well, they taste very good, and the missus gets to brag about what a deal she got!

Only snowed for half a day and it melted by evening. It only snows here twice per year, sometimes three times.

Brother bailed on Chinese. So we ended up getting Japanese instead.

Chicken, mushrooms, celery, onion, sour cream, pat of butter, chicken broth, S&P, garlic powder. Sweat the veg, and when translucent add a little chicken broth to deglaze the fond, simmer. Add cubed chicken and a little more broth. Cover. Simmer. Toward end, add a little sour cream and a pat of butter. Then cook uncovered until the liquid thickens. At the end, give it a generous squirt of Meyer lemon juice!

No problemo. I quite enjoyed her dish. She made it from it all from scratch sauce included.

Pad thai is typically one of my least enjoyed asian sauces. So to enjoy it made me realize it came out real good.
