I too woke up to a little snow but here, it melted right away. Hope that tomorrow is a better day. Supposedly, tonight and tomorrow we get snow again. Heading to Costa Mesa on Tuesday to see my car. Sent from my BLA-A09 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I have a photo shoot planned in a week or so but I will get some down and dirty pics when the rain clears up Tuesday. Frankly Ive been waiting for the front end to settle in a bit.
I am sure it will look bad #$$. This is the stance I will be shooting for. The "Miami stance" is too low for my liking. Image Unavailable, Please Login
As far as I understand, sometimes it takes a few drives for it to settle and occasionally, has to be readjusted to get what you want. I may change my mind and go a tad higher, but I like the look in the height on that picture. As far as it looks like a Ferrari F8 and not a Ferrari Subaru Hybrid F8-back, which seems is what I have now.
No offense taken. Just because I live in California, doesn't mean I can't accept your opinion. I can even take it with some spice and still wouldn't take it persona. I am one of yours... Just living in the wrong state. I just have to make sure it feels great as well. I know I will lose some performance and drive quality by upsizing, but I am not going to compete and I don't think it will be that much that could be noticed. If it is noticeable, will pull them out and go back to 20" 's
No way ... in Scottsdale !!! Been following the thread to look at your car ... didn’t expect to see snow - lol MDS
You should look at the pictures again. If you are from Minnesota, this for you must be laughable. I remember when I came to visit my father in Southern California. It was December 2008. I was living in NJ at the time and there was a "snow storm" Flurries in SD that didn't even stick. We were heading north on15 and it must've snowed about 1/2 inch, maybe an inch at the most and the closed that damn Highway at the Cajon Pass. It was just pure over reaction and ridiculous. Now, living here for over 10 years, I realize why... Most California "drivers" can't drive (safely) when it is good weather, they really suck at bad weather, even if it is a little drizzle of rain.
Here is a quick down and dirty picture with the iPhone and comparison. Very little lowering. But I think it looks so much better in person. I didnt slam it by any means and the front end supposedly will settle in a bit more. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thats what I thought but now that I drive, it rubbed in an area of my driveway that I never had any issues. It’s definitely lower. My guy says it takes about 2 weeks to settle in. I’m Happy with it and can always take it lower in the future.
Nah. I’m good. Just need to be a bit careful. I have the bottom covered in scrape armour that is absorbing any issues. Now that I am aware of it, just need to modify my driving habits.
It would seem the stock ride height is inconsistent between delivered cars. Your original setup appears to sit a little higher than mine (stock). Image Unavailable, Please Login
When I was doing the install on my springs at the dealer....we were talking about factory ride height and the spec from lowest to highest when a car leaves the factory can and does vary by as much as 10mm. I thought that is insane. I know with my Porsche’s they do not vary the spec no where near than much. Ferrari spec seems haphazard
I don't see much difference in the front, so if you say it is scratching when it wasn't before, I take your word for it. In the rear, you can clearly see the difference. Very nice.
No, they’re standard Pista wheels. In general, non-black wheels tend to appear a little larger to my eyes.
It seems to me that If folks are looking to lower 1-1.5”, the factory adjustable coil overs should do the trick. I’m curious as to why one would opt for aftermarket in this case. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
