All three peddle cars are really jumping and getting hard to find! That was an amazing price !! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
A really easy way to compare values of many vehicles is to look at the Hagerty Valuation tool. I think you have to create a free account to use it. I find it to be very interesting. https://www.hagerty.com/apps/valuationtools/search
Looks like another F430 6-speed on BaT closing in 10 days. Current bid $123,456.00. Here we go again? I wonder if the F430's will drag the 360 6-speed prices along with them. I understand 360's are not as rare but a little bump would be nice.
In July 2020 I purchased a 5900 mile, one owner gated 2002 Modena. Options included power Daytona seats, leather head liner, interior colored dash, red calipers and CD changer. Colors are TDF Blue with Bordeaux. All the paint is original (as are the tires) and the service history/records are complete. The 79 year old original owner had passed away. I paid $130,000. Did I overpay....I really didn’t care. I wanted this car and never considered it’s investment potential. I strongly doubt that these cars will ever appreciate like the vintage Ferrari’s I once owned. They were art objects that were displayed in my climate controlled garage. Apparently there were 18,000 360’s produced (50% gated). F430 production numbers are also around 18,000 with 25% manuals. It therefore is very unlikely that these will ever become blue chip investments. I do believe that the gated cars will always carry a premium. It is also obvious that very low mileage perfect examples will be more highly valued than “used” examples. As so many have stated, enjoy these beautiful automobiles. We are fortunate to be able to own them and don’t forget that “Life is Short!”
